Static Transfer Switches

The on-line availability of data processing and communications systems is ever more critical. Static transfer switches offer the last line of defense against any disruptions to 7x24 availability of critical sites.

Achieve Power Redundancy and Dual Cord Capability. Feed all dual cord load racks from independent sources of power:

  • Two independent utility sources (not from the same substation)
  • One UPS and one utility line
  • Two isolated UPS systems (not electrically connected in any way)
  • Feed the racks that contain single input/corded loads from a Rack Mounted Static Transfer Switch by powering the transfer switch from the above sources. This coverts all single corded racks to dual, enabling continuity of operations regardless of loss of a source of power.

Super-fast 1/4 cycle emergency transfer for all in and out of phase conditions.

Option of:10A, 20A, 30A, 40A, 50A, 1 ph, 2 pole, 50Hz or 60Hz, 120V, 208V, 220V, 230V, 240V.

22KA rating enables use in any environment (close to standard 22KA panels).

UL Listed and Labeled, CE Labeled for international use.

Plug-in Electronics with Continuous Self Diagnostics.

Built-in Bypass Isolation rated at 22KA, with safety interlocks and operator fool-proofing features.

True 40C ambient temperature operating capability at full load regardless of internal rack temperature enables use in both open bottom or enclosed racks installed on hard flooring without pressurized air flow.

Multiple built-in internal logic and power supply redundancies provide the highest MTBF in the industry.

Built-in transient protection.

Completely user settable and configurable - Does not require supplier proprietary software that may conflict with your operating system. No need to procure laptops for this purpose or pay for a technician every time you need to make a simple setting change.

Full Array of Communications Capabilities Options: Volt-Free Contacts, RS-422, RS-485 Modbus RTU, or Ethernet with LAN/Web access capabilities and multi-system management and archiving features.
